Jacob, Jacob — God is using you in an amazing way and I am so glad that He brought you our way. Never lose your passion & your vision — we are very proud of you! Mama Marci
Jacob,
The buttons are great! A student in my persuasion class gave a great speech on SSHCO and you and handed out buttons to whoever in the class wanted to give a donation of any size (a great idea by the way!). As a result a donation was made to SSHCO in honor of Carla Koontz’s birthday this month.
Bless you and your work for the Kingdom!

Jacob,
We haven’t met, but I graduated from Spring Arbor College 25 years ago this month. I am now working for the Michigan Public Health Institute (a nonprofit) in Okemos, Michigan, and one of my co-workers is circulating your SSHCO brochure around our offices today. What a wonderful surprise to see that you are a new SAU grad! Keep up the good work for the people of southern Sudan; you and David will be in my prayers, and a donation is coming soon.
Jacob,
Your vision and passion are amazing. The website looks great, and I know that SSHCO will be a wonderful success. Jill and I are blessed to have you in our family and we are very proud of you.

Jeremiah 29:11 “I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” I will be praying in agreement with you as you work to accomplish this amazing goal. Mr. Stachurski and I are blessed to be your friends and are very proud of you.

I am so excited to see the amount of money rising. God knows you need it and he will provide the means.
I am also a student at SAU and have heard you speak twice. Very inspiring. I pray for the mission God has placed upon your heart. I know He will do amazing things through you. He loves you so much.

This is a commendable undertaking; please soldier on and you will realize not only your dream but also our people aspirations. I am moved!
Dear Jacob,
First off i would just llike to say i was at forsyth academy and i loved your spech. you gave a lot of inspiration and showed compassion torwards your audience. Second off my teacher is making us do a report on the power struggle and war. i think what your doing is great keep it up.
This website gives me hope for the people of Sudan. This catasrofic issue is quite close to my heart, but since i am so young there is not much that i am able to do. Sudan needs more leaders like Jacob, who are passionate about making a change and who never give up. I am so proud that you have come so far. Hopefully this war-captivated, genocide-ridden country will finally get the attention it deserves! It is a beautiful country, and I hope to one day adventure through its captivating scenery and know that i was a part of the generation that returned faith and security to this amazing region.I keep hoping, praying, and donating to a country that i love, yet havn’t ever stepped on. It is because of people like you, that give me reasons to contribute all that i have, even if it does happen to be the equivalent of nothing at all.
-With great hope

You are in my prayers!

Hi Jacob!
It took me awhile to get around to actually visit your website and I must say, I am impressed.
Internet connection is pretty slow here in Sudan, but that will not hinder me from making time every once in a while to see how you are progressing.
We the people of Maar are blessed to have someone like you in our midst and would whole-heartedly support your initiative to set up a clinic in the area.
During my last visit to Maar in April 2008, I became aware of the lack of any health facilities, when people started lining up to receive treatment at the hands of a young lady from Denver who had basic training in First Aid. She did a lot for our people during the few days she was there, God bless her… in fact we started calling her Dr. Maar!! The number of cases she was handling daily opened my eyes to the dire needs of our community.
You can count on me and my family to stand firmly behind you to make sure you succeed in achieving your goals.
Yin ca leec!
